Must-See Places in Yamanashi Prefecture 

Yamanashi Prefecture is located near the center of Honshu, the main island of Japan.
Region, Chubu / Island, Honshu / Capital, Kofu

How to Get There :
Can reach the Yamanashi area on the JR Tokaido Shinkansen from Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya and beyond, and also on regular JR trains and highway buses or by car.

Shosen Valley, Kofu is one of the best landscape scenery located in Chichibutamakai National Park, Yamanashi.
It is also chosen as the Heisei 100 best waterfalls in Japan. The valley is about 5km long, there are many unique rocks, walls and tunnels which create the art of nature in this valley.
Access :
From Tokyo : Shinjuku Station to Kofu Station via JR Limited Express & approx. 1hrs & 30min
From Osaka : Use JR Tokaido to Kofu Station
From Kofu station : Use local bus to Sengataki, Shosenkyo & walk north (5 min)

Shosenkyo Ropeway – There are several places where you can see at the top of this ropeway such as Mt. Fuji Harukasho, Yasaburo-dake & Uguisudani
Fuefukigawa Fruit Park, this place with gardens, play equipment & glass domes housing a fruit museum and greenhouse.
You can enjoy the best night view here!!
Access : From Kofu Station, take JR Chuo Line and get off at Yamanashishi Station. Then, take a local bus to Fuefukigawa Fruits Koen
