Nagasakibana Park Garden: A park at the southernmost tip of Satsuma Peninsula

Longtime seaside zoological park & gardens with animal shows, a feeding area & picturesque view. It is located in Yamakawa, Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture. A large panorama overlooking the Hidemine “Kaimondake” and the East China Sea. It has been 50 years since the park opened in Nagasakibana, the southern tip of the Satsuma Peninsula, where the legend of the Ryugu remains.

Nagasaki Nose Parking Garden has been loved to this day as a healing spot that reproduces the tropical jungle, a paradise in the South Sea where subtropical flora grows. In the park, it is popular that rare monkeys (squirrel monkeys; squirrel monkeys, tamarins, lemurs, etc.) and small animals such as birds (congo guinea fowl, guinea fowl, emu) are free-ranged in a form that is as close to nature as possible.

Therefore, the lovely facial expressions, movements and habits of each animal sometimes give unexpected impressions and surprises. We believe that this is the greatest service we aim for our customers. Animal shows such as the macaw show and the mouse show are also performed every day, and you may be able to encounter various emotions in this extraordinary space.

Location: 1571-1 Yamakawaokajikemizu, Ibusuki 891-0513 Kagoshima Prefecture

How to go: Nagasakibana can be reached by bus from Ibusuki JR Station. It takes about an hour. You can buy a one-day bus ticket.
