Located at Pantai Tengah, Resort World Langkawi is just a short drive from the popular Pantai Cenang. Facing the oceans with views of Andaman Sea’s turquoise waters, this renovated resort was actually known as Awana Porto Malai since 1997.
The white lighthouse that contrasts with the bright yellow facade near the coastal boardwalks becomes the resort’s landmark, and the view is not the only part of the resort that blows your mind off!
The Rooms
With a total of 211 rooms at Resorts World Langkawi. The resort’s renovation in 2016 enhanced their rooms and offers various room types.
There are various room types, from Standard to Premier, rooms with sea views and even suites! If you are booking with H.I.S. Travel Malaysia, you can get a Premier room and get upgraded to a Seaview Room (subject to availability) for FREE!
The Seaview Room is suitable for friends or families, equipped with two double beds (or you can also request for a King bed with lounge chair) that provides enough comfort, while also having large windows that gives you a beautiful sea view!
With a great place to stay, there are also facilities in the room that you can utilize: TV with in-house movies, satellite TV programmes, a mini fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryer, and the room is fully air-conditioned and of course, comes with free wi-fi!
While there’s also time to enjoy their balcony view of the sea, you can also iron your clothes – iron and ironing board are provided! Not to forget that if you have a family with an infant, you can also request for a baby cot (subject to availability, of course)!
The best of all, Resort World Langkawi offers free shuttle services to Cenang town (5 times per day) if you don’t feel like driving. Otherwise, taxi rides are also affordable!
The Facilities
There are a total of 5 places to fine at Resorts World Langkawi. The Seagull Coffee house is the place you’ll get your buffet breakfast in the morning, and other Asian and international cuisines throughout the day. They have an omelette station now, also they sectioned their breakfast areas to cold and hot section that accommodates to both Asian and Western options, there will be something for you!
Opens from 11am to 11pm, Zest Lounge provides an open air dining concept. If you wanted to splurge juuuuuust a little more, their boardwalk dinner can be another highlight of your trip besides the Langkawi Sunset Cruise that you can book together with H.I.S. Travel!
